When we finally cracked the Shugborough Holy Grail Monument code, as discussed in The Quest To Regain Paradise, it revealed the name of the Rosicrucian Grand Master, Francis Bacon. The code also led us to another monument in Westminster Abbey that was carved by the same artisan; a monument that reputedly held another cypher concerning Francis Bacon, the Westminster Shakespeare Bacon cypher.

…mankind’s quest to regain the lost knowledge of the ancients.

Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada

The mystery surrounding Shakespeare and Bacon is complex and extensive, but in short we had been led to Westminster Abbey. The big question was: could we discover a clue that would lead us to the location of the Holy Grail – the Tree of Life here on earth? Moreover, would we discover a clue to the location of the original Jerusalem Blake had secretly described in his works where Jesus had walked in ancient times; the Jerusalem built in England’s green and pleasant land where the temple-gateway to Paradise had been constructed?

Summer Solstice Sensation: The Green Man revealed…

According to the prophesy surrounding the quest to regain Paradise, it states that the chosen adepts would one day discover the Tree of Life, here, on earth. But how could a tree from Paradise be here on earth?

“Every unbelievable detail and account is somehow stacked with evidence and foundations that leave a definite trail to the biggest question of all.”

Dr. L. David – Amazon Review

Well, in a medieval document called the Golden Legend, we are informed that when Adam (the first man) died, an Archangel gave a seed from the Tree of Life to Seth, his third son. Seth then placed the seed in his father’s mouth, and from this seed both root and branch grew to form the Tree of Life on earth. This secret event can be seen in medieval architecture across the world in the familiar form illustrated above.

Of course, many of you will realise that this is the infamous Green Man, the identity of which has baffled everyone until now… The place where all this occurred was called Golgotha, which means ‘the place of the skull’, Adams skull that is.

“What a read…”

Canon Keith Madeley MBE – Chairman of the Yorkshire Society

The legend goes on to explain that, around BC 1000, the Tree of Life was acquired by King Solomon, which he buried back at Golgotha to ensure the prophesy would be fulfilled. The prophesy being that it would be rediscovered and used to manufacture the cross for the crucifixion of Jesus.

…mankind’s quest to regain the lost knowledge of the ancients.

Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada

After the crucifixion, we are informed that the cross made from the Tree of Life was reburied at Golgotha, until it was rediscovered in the 4th century by St. Helena, the British mother of Constantine, the first Christian Roman Emperor, who took it to a secret place in Wales for safe keeping.

The next we hear of the cross is in the Annals of Wales, which states that, around the 6th century, at the Battle of Badon, King Arthur, a descendant of Constantine and St. Helena, was in possession of the True Cross. Of course, we now come full circle to the stories that deal with King Arthur and the Holy Grail – or more correctly King Arthur and the Tree of Life.

Historically surprising, intriguing and fascinatingly engrossing.”

Sam Christer – Author: The Stonehenge Legacy

The next we hear of the cross is in the Chronicle of Lantercost under the year 1282, where it states that Edward I defeated the Welsh and took the cross. Edward kept the so-called Cross of Destiny or Cross Neyth and paraded it through the streets of London in May 1285. Ultimately, to stay true to the prophesy, in 1298 he built it into the temple-gateway for the final adepts to rediscover and use to gain immortality in the quest to regain Paradise.

We now know that the so-called Holy Grail and the medieval romances describing it were there to preserve the Grail’s true identity; the immortalising, priceless Tree of Life, which would give the chosen adepts the power to take part in the final battle for the quest to regain Paradise.

“Upon a green silk from Arabia she bore the pride of Paradise, root and branch beyond all price that was a thing men call the Grail.”

We also know that in many of the ancient carvings of the Tree of Life there is also a depiction of the White Rabbit, the icon for the quest, which was preserved by Lewis Carroll in his Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland. He first encountered this mysterious icon in St. Mary’s church in Beverly, as shown in the image above.

Prior to this, ‘follow the White Rabbit’ became the secret mantra for the mysterious Rosy Cross or Rosicrucian order led by the 17th century Grand Master, Sir Francis Bacon. In 1604 the illusive Basilius Valentinus depicted the Rosy Cross mission to follow the White Rabbit in a secret symbol. Here the Rosicrucian adepts are destined to follow the White Rabbit, since it will undoubtedly disappear down the hole with their secret.

But the big question as potential adepts on the quest to regain paradise, is: ‘How do we follow the White Rabbit?’ Well, that’s exactly what we are doing now!

Follow the White Rabbit…

As revealed for the first time ever in the last blog, we discovered that the Holy Grail in the medieval King Arthur stories was a secret term used to describe the true Grail, the immortalising Tree of Life, which appears in legends and religions around the globe.

…mankind’s quest to regain the lost knowledge of the ancients.” Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada

Most importantly though, in the arcane prophesy surrounding the quest to regain Paradise, it states that the ones chosen to complete the quest would ultimately discover the temple-portal containing the Tree of Life. Moreover, that they would need its immortalising power to pass through the portal to take part in the final battle to regain Paradise.

“What a read…” Canon Keith Madeley MBE – Chairman of the Yorkshire Society

But in legend and scripture, the Tree of Life was protected by two fearful Griffins at the Gateway to Paradise. So how did it come to be on earth and more importantly, how did it find its way into the prophesised temple-portal here on earth? To find the answers, we need to ‘follow the White Rabbit…’

The Grail’s Within Our Reach Indy!

But first we need to know just what the Grail is…

Not quite Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in search of the Grail, but the journey to London provided a couple of significant revelations from Westminster Abbey and the Temple in the United Grand Lodge of England. Our umbrellas just about lasted long enough to protect us from the relentless rain, while we dashed across the City pursued by an albino monk and Jack Bauer trying to take our secrets!

Before I begin to explain what we found, let’s first wind back the clock… The best visual description of the Grail comes from a scene in an early medieval story about one of King Arthur’s Knights, Percival, which was written by a real crusader knight called Wolfram. In this monumental scene there is a procession, which includes the Grail Queen holding the object that could provide immortality for the knights worthy of completing the Grail quest, the Grail itself. This seemingly strange description of the Grail has eluded scholars and laymen alike to this day for a good reason – as we will see in a moment…

If we now turn to the secret legends, scripture and stories from across the ages dating back to 3500 BC, which describe the quest to regain Paradise, they similarly state that the chosen candidates worthy of completing the quest would also be given access to an object that would give them immortality. Moreover that this object would ultimately be hidden in the final, solemn temple; not Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem, but in the original, much older, secret Jerusalem described by William Blake as being built ‘here’, in England’s ‘green and pleasant land’.

So, could the Grail in the King Arthur legend be the same immortalising object described in the quest to regain paradise? In this much older quest, it specifically states that we were cast from Paradise for one reason: we were tricked into stealing the knowledge of the gods. But most importantly, the only thing the gods could do to stop us from going on to take control of Paradise was to cast us out, so that we could no longer eat their immortalising fruit from the evocative Tree of Life. So, again, could the Grail and the Tree of Life be one in the same thing?

Well, if we go back to the description of the Grail in the Arthurian legend, you can decide for yourself. As the Grail Queen slowly makes her way in the procession holding the immortalising object, the following explanation is given:

“She bore the pride of Paradise, root and branch beyond all price that was a thing men call the Grail.”

‘So what about the cypher on the Shakespeare Monument?’ I hear some of you ask. Well, as with the Shugborough Grail Monument all it takes is someone to point out the obvious; in this case Shakespeare, or perhaps Bacon….

Help Us Locate the Holy Grail…

Help Us Locate the Holy Grail… When we cracked the Shugborough Holy Grail code, as discussed in The Quest To Regain Paradise, it ultimately led us to the Temple Gateway in York, its final resting place. But still its exact location eluded us; we hit a stone wall, literally – until now. A couple of weeks ago I was mailed a strange shaped cutting of a newspaper (circa 1794) from a source at Shugborough, which had been discovered in one of their loft spaces. I will explain its full significance in a later blog when I have collected together the replies from the various organisations who have offered an opinion on its mysterious nature. But what immediately became apparent from initial investigations was that there was a solid connection between the monument at Shuborough that holds the Grail code and another monument situated in Westminster Abbey; the Shakespeare Monument that reputedly holds a secret cypher. A cursory examination of the two monuments reveals a common theme; in each case both contain individuals pointing to specific words from a passage. On its own this may be considered just an interesting coincidence, but when we discovered that both monuments were carved by the same artisan, the Flemish sculptor Peter Scheemakers, we knew we were on to something. So this bank holiday we will be making our way down to the Big Smoke to crack the cypher… Of course those of you who have read the Quest will be well aware of the Stone of Destiny link between Westminster Abbey and the Temple Gateway in York. Maybe we will see you there…

Latest review for the Quest: Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society Of Canada:

“…mankind’s quest to regain the lost knowledge of the ancients.”

In a bid to craft a sequel to the Quest (working title: The Indigo Children of the Rhubarb Triangle), I seem to be following the White Rabbit down some of the most intriguing rabbit holes around the globe. After consulting with university departments, curators of eminent secret societies and museums across Europe, I began to realise that I still needed help to complete the next mysterious jigsaw that will ultimately reveal the secret history of the world. It came to me this morning as I read an email from one of the guardians of the Order of the Thirty Nine Steps, based in Edinburgh. Why not just offer out each mystery as it unfolds, I thought; put it into cyberspace and let the chips fall where they may. In short, the email was regarding the nature of a shield that the medieval guardians of the quest to regain Paradise believed could be used to open the temple gateway in Ancient Eborakon, modern day York (shown above). By solving this riddle you will be succeeding where all have failed. And don’t hesitate to share the burden; pass it on to anyone you feel might have a clue! Good luck.

And was Jerusalem builded here….

When the infamous William Blake wrote the words for his poem “And did those feet in ancient time” (later used for the great British hymn, Jerusalem), very few were aware that he was making reference to a story known to a very ancient, global, secret society, which explained that Jesus had visited Ancient Britain in search of a truth that could change everything. A truth that is still waiting to out…

The thrill

As a writer, one of the thrills is undoubtedly gaining accolade – for someone to say they like what you have written. At that moment, it was all worth it! Whether it be from the academic world, in a chance encounter with an American tourist in the centre of town or by email from someone who has been searching for truths that you have been able to provide for them. I feel honoured in each case. And when Sam Christer, author of the international smash hit, The Stonehenge Legacy and recently published Camelot Code, mailed me to say that he found The Quest To Regain Paradise, “Historically surprising, intriguing and fascinatingly engrossing,” I felt I must share it, as it will inspire me to keep searching…
